Allergy Treatment - Inflammation Symptoms

Allergy treatment is required when the immune system responds to an alien substance such as pollen, bee venom or pet dander. The immune system develops proteins called IgE antibodies. These antibodies protect the body from unwanted invaders that could make you sick or cause an infection. When allergy symptoms are present, the immune system makes antibodies that identify a specific allergen as something detrimental, even though it isn't. This activates the discharge of histamines and other substances that provoke allergy symptoms. The severity of allergies differs from person to person. Allergy symptoms depend on the type of allergy, and can involve the airways, sinuses and nasal passages, skin and digestive system. In most cases, an allergic reaction is a inconvenience that causes annoying but mild symptoms. Serious allergic reactions can be more dangerous because they are not  unlikely to involve several of the body's organ systems. In some extreme cases, allergies can trigger a life-threatening reaction in the body known as anaphylaxis. While there is no allergy cure, a number of medications can help with allergy treatment, such as Allegra, Clarinex, Claritin, Cyproheptadine, Fexofenadine, Loratadine, Periactin, Singulair, Xyzal and Zyrtec.

Chronic inflammation symptoms are the intricate biological reaction of vascular tissues to harmful stimuli, such as pathogens, damaged cells, or irritants. Inflammation is a protective attempt by the organism to eliminate the pernicious stimuli as well as initiate the healing process for the tissue. Inflammation does not equate infection. Even in cases where it is caused by infection, the two are not analogous: infection is caused by an exogenous pathogen, while chronic inflammation symptoms are one of the organism's reactions to the pathogen. If there is a lack of inflammation, wounds and infections would never heal and progressive destruction of the tissue would compromise the survival of the organism. However, chronic inflammation symptoms can also lead to an array of diseases, such as hay fever (which would require allergy treatment), atherosclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. It is for that reason that it is usually closely monitored by the body. It can be categorized as either acute or chronic. Acute inflammation is the primary reaction of the body to damaging stimuli and is accomplished by the elevated movement of plasma and leukocytes from the blood into the injured tissues. A succession of biochemical events generates and matures the inflammatory response, involving the local vascular system, the immune system, and various cells within the injured tissue. Chronic inflammation symptoms lead to a progressive rearrangement in the type of cells which are present at the location of inflammation and is characterized by simultaneous destruction and healing of the tissue from the inflammatory process. Medications used to treat chronic inflammation symptoms include Meticorten and Prednisolone.
