Generic Olux side effects most commonly reported are, stinging, redness, itching, burning, and dryness with the first few applications. As the body adjusts to the medication these side effects should fade away. Consult a local physician if they persist or worsen. Other side effects can be more severe and include skin discoloration, acne, or excessive hair growth. Allergic reaction is possible and can cause swelling in the feet or ankles, trouble breathing, or swelling to the face, tongue, or throat. Discontinue use of this drug until authorized by a local physician if you develop chicken pox, tuberculosis, shingles, or the measles.
