A patient may have adverse reactions in the form of nausea or increased restlessness when they first try this drug, but these symptoms will disappear after the body becomes accustomed to the medication. Other side effects that should be cause for concern include the following reactions: tremors, increased irritability, loss of hair, pronounced excitement, diarrhea, convulsions, arrhythmia, seizures, rashes on the skin, heart palpitations, headaches, a change in urination, or vomiting. These reactions will need to be reported to your local physician as soon as possible as a dosage adjustment or cessation of the medication may be needed.
