Mild side effects that may be experienced by a user are dizziness, a ringing sound in the ears, a swollen or painful tongue, pain in the joints, insomnia, or a sensation of spinning. Severe adverse reactions that should warrant medical intervention include the following symptoms: skin rashes, pale skin, strange bleeding or bruising, shortness of breath, bloody or watery diarrhea, hallucinations, confusion, seizures, lowered heart rate, nausea, body aches, a decrease in urination, clay-colored bowel movements, jaundice, loss of appetite, or a feeling of being restless.
