Similar to other medications, a patient may have an allergic reaction to Suprax. An exhibition of hives, swelling of the face and throat, or a breathing impairment may be signs of an allergic reaction and professional help should be contacted as soon as possible. Other side effects that may require the intervention of medical personnel include the following: watery diarrhea, severe fevers, peeling or blistering skin rashes, a tingling sensation, excessive warmth or redness, swelling of the hands and feet, irregular heartbeats, chest pain, bloody diarrhea, numbness, or shortness of breath. Other side effects that may not need additional help include nausea, constipation, anxiety, headaches, a runny nose, sore throat, drowsiness, abdominal pain, or vaginal itching or discharge.
