Scientist have discovered the positive effect of Viagra accidentally. The active element in Generic Viagra is called Sildenafil citrate and it was initially prescribed for dropping the blood pressure in cardiovascular diseases. But surprisingly, the patients didn’t want to give up the treatment because it also had a secondary positive effect: the erections were longer and much stronger. This fact led the researchers at Pfizer Laboratories to think about a medicine that only helped men have a better erection and that’s how Viagra was born.
The medicine was approved by US Food and Drug Administration on 27th of March 1998. Since then, Generic Viagra has been used by more than 35 million men worldwide.
Before anyone was able to Buy Viagra, erectile dysfunction was not scientifically explained. Its cause was considered to be psychological and those who suffered of it were sent to psychologists for treatment. Recent studies showed that the affection is vascular. The blood circulation is better for some people comparing to others. Viagra works for reducing the blood pressure, stimulates a better circulation of the blood and makes erection be stronger and durable. Because of the studies generated by Viagra, impotence is now called erectile dysfunction and instead continuing to be a taboo subject, now it’s only a matter of blood circulation.
Generic Viagra can be taken orally and it’s much easier to use than the solution were once used for treating impotence.
Viagra’s positive effect can be felt in half an hour after it is ingested and it lasts for 4 hours if it’s used on an empty stomach or at least after a low fat meal. Some people say that it can affect the spontaneity of the sexual act, but other people believe that 4 hours are long enough for spontaneity.
Abusive use of Viagra Without Prescription by healthy people is a reality and there is a danger of becoming psychological dependence of the drug.
In conclusion, science proved that impotence is only a vascular disease, not a psychological one and created a scientific name (erectile dysfunction) for an affection which was considered taboo.
