Celebrity cheaters have been busting through the headlines of the tabloids, newspapers, and television talk shows, this year in a major way. And the public’s insatiable curiosity about these recent events has brought more publicity and bad press to these superstars, including famous names such as Tiger Woods, Charlie Sheen, Jesse James, Eliot Spitzer, Mark Sanford David Letterman, Larry King, and David Boreanaz, which are some of the Hollywood names of those that have been recently been caught in the last twelve months. Let’s talk about some of these top celebrity break-up and cheating stories of 2009 – 2010.

Tiger Woods had probably one of the most publicized affairs that we’ve heard of in recent years. We’re not sure whether it was his superstar Pro Golfer legacy that he has consistently built up throughout the years or the fact that there were at least ten women that have been linked to having an affair with Mr. Woods, but the public was quite vocally outraged by it. Tiger Woods has reportedly completed treatment at a facility that handles sexual addictions and made a public apology to his wife, his fans, and his sponsors, as well as many others.

Another highly publicized affair was Jesse James with Nazi-tattooed Michelle McGee, his marriage with “America’s Sweetheart” has come to a screeching halt. His wife, Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock is now raising the son they adopted together, as a single mom. There are currently talks of Michelle “Bombshell” McGee starting her own reality show.

Larry King and his wife of thirteen years both filed for a divorce just minutes apart. This will be King’s eighth divorce and it is a result of coming clean about his affair with Shawn Southwick-King’s (his wife) sister. It was King’s longest marriage, to date, and the pair had two sons together ages, eleven and nine.

David Letterman Popular Late Night Talk Show Host, was another high-profile scandal that brought plenty of nasty publicity to this CBS late night comedian. Court papers started flying when the husband of one of his female employees threatened Letterman with a pay-off of two million dollars to keep the details of the affair quiet. This popular late night talk show host/owner/and producer confessed to the affair and immediately charged his affair’s significant other with extortion, claiming he was blackmailed to broadcast the details or face the consequences.

Perhaps, we could venture to say that had generic Viagra been part of the equation with these famous cheaters and their wives, that maybe then, we wouldn’t be hearing about all of their dirty laundry being broadcast across the news for months.
