A good night sleep is mandatory for every individual in order to be able to properly function during the day. However, it seams women tend to get less sleep than men because they are awoken by their partners. Nowadays, there is a term to describe the jealousy women feel for their partners because they fall asleep faster than they do: sleep envy. Sleep envy can therefore greatly affect one’s relationship. Being woken up several times during one night makes sleep unpleasant; however, if the reason behind sleep envy is snoring, you should probably be the one doing something to solve the problem. Be it coordinating bedtime schedules for her to fall asleep before you or you getting anti-snoring nose patches, there is a solution for most. Exercising during the day and avoiding caffeine drinks, specially during late hours can help you deal with sleeping trouble.

In the end, sleep envy does no good for any of the partners and one should find ways to fix the problem before it affects the integrity of the couple; you don’t want to see your girl’s monster face and personality after a night of bad sleep.
