Even when there is nothing manlier than a full set of hair – be it mustache, beard, chest, arms, legs, etc. – there are certain types of hair accumulation that are certainly turn offs. Some hair grooming might help your overall look, but other types of hair-keeping are just plain, old hygiene. May the force be with you; release the unwanted body hair!

Top three rules for keeping hair in places it should be, include grooming, cleansing and removing. Some hair you can simply be trimmed into making it look sharp. Hair also requires cleansing; no one likes a greasy head of hair or smelly pubes. And then there is the hair you certainly can live without; the kind of hair that grows profusely in unwanted places.

Male hair grooming is as easy and basic as head, shoulders knees and toes – knees and toes. Head being first, facial hair is one of the main issues that can make you either look very nice or pretty raunchy. Keeping your beard, mustache, goatee, or sideburns well groomed is one step closer towards becoming a better looking man. Yet, other types of hear on your head area need to be taken care of. Besides the obvious hair cut, it is important men watch out for protruding nose or ear hair. Nothing screams ewww like these wild and untamed beasts.

Now cleansing has to do with all facial hair, but also that of nether regions. Whether you are a trimmer or a waxer, cleaning the shrubbery left down below is crucial. In the same fashion you wash your head and beard, you should make sure to wash the rest of your body hair, i.e. pubes, armpit hair, etc. Unkept hair strategically located in moist areas like the groin and under arm can cause your manly musk to turn into an unbearable stench. And Stinky, trust me when I say no woman wants a man with a stench bomb down his pants.

There really is no one rule to what women will like regarding your manly body hair; therefore, it is advisable you choose what suits you best (think of getting rid of hair as getting that ED pill of yours; you choose generic Viagra instead of some other med. Some men choose to shave their chests, some men choose not to. It is entirely up to you).
