Dancing 101 For Men

Men have been pumping up their muscles at neighborhood and home gyms for quite some time now. Fit torsos and bulky arms pretty much rule social scenes and the more in shape a guy is, the more attention he is likely to get. Even with super strong bodies, men have gradually left aside one of the greatest forms of seduction, not to mention one heck of a workout: dancing. Men who are good dancers are often praised by other men and lusted after women. A man who can dance his way around a ballroom or dance floor is not only in full command of himself, but he is also perceived as having huge personality and a certain golden-age allure only Frank Sinatra types seem to be able to pull off.

Be it your thing or not, dancing is known to be a desirable quality in men. Or so women say. Dancing is first and foremost a great way to exercise. Not only are you required to be coordinated and flexible, you also develop full command of space and personal interaction. Men who enjoy dancing have more access to non-threatening physical contact with women at places where there is dancing, than those who simply remain standing and watching, beer in hand. A man who knows how to dance also knows he’ll never be sitting alone at the table during a wedding reception.

The competitive character of men can make dancing fun for them, and amazing for their dates. A man who can dance is skillful and crafty; he knows how to move and how to lead his partner into having a great time. Among men, one who can indulge in great dancing is worthy of admiration. He is likely to have more contact with females and happier, less awkward times than those who don’t. There is nothing worse than being unable to please a woman’s desire to dance. Instead of disappointing a date, men who can dance give their ladies a good time and make them happy to have gone out with them. And a happy woman is a grateful one.

Considered a social generic Viagra, dancing will automatically make men feel more manly. Leading with skill and charm is something only Alpha males can do. As an ego boost, being good at dancing can make any man feel good about himself. Having women other than his girlfriend or wife lusting after him because of his dancing skills will make any man feel twice as powerful.

Being able to dance and improve at dancing helps men build confidence and encouragement to do other things. As one gets better at something, you simply realize you can do all sorts of stuff, and do them good. But above all, dancing will always pay off. As a man grows older, more and more social events will require him to dance. Without having to decline, events will become much more memorable and fun. Weddings, parties and other life rituals most often than not involve dancing. Think your daughter’s sweet sixteen, dancing with your wife at your son’s wedding or scoring points with your moves with a great aunt of mother-in-law at some family affair. Dancing makes a man much more than a purse-holding stand.
