Top 10 Summer Movies
If you are planning on having a great summer do not forget to include some relaxing activities as well. We know that when we say “summer” you may already be seeing yourself at the beach, clubbing and partying. However, partying all the time can take from the way you look. Alternative activities for summer like a good movie may also be part of your agenda . Here are what we considered to be the best 10 summer movies of 2010, which are a must and which your girlfriend will love you for.
To make it easier to keep track of them we came up with a classification. According to genera, you can choose from action movies, chick flicks, horror flicks and comic inspired movies. If we should start with one of the best summer movies for men we would have to mention action classic The A-Team. You probably remember the first version of the movie which was a series filmed in the early 1980′s. A new millennium movie starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and of course, Jessica Biel as the strong female character which spices up the atmosphere will pump your adrenaline to its max. Consider watching it with both your buddies and your girlfriend, as there is a great chance she will like it as well. Robin Hood, Clash of Titans (remake), and Inception or Karate Kid all made our cut for great action movies, when too much summer slow down needs a little pick-me-up.
You may be wondering why we included chick flicks like Eclipse or Killers. Well, before you go all Adam Sandler on Anger Management on us, these are great picks to spend with your girlfriend or for a casual date. They are, after all popular, and you are going to hear a lot about them. Wouldn’t it be better to be able to answer something other than “uh-huh” every time you hear your girl talk about some Edward dude? The Twilight series might be the equivalent of generic Viagra to your lady’s libido anyway.
Terror, personally, is one of the best genera in movies. Gore and suspense are a sub-categories some of you out there might enjoy. Our picks for these categories include A Nightmare on Elm Street, a remake of the earlier 1980′s version. Prepare for a revamped and intense horror movie remake starring Jackie Earle Haley, Kyle Gallner and Rooney Mara.
Movies inspired by comics, video games and fictional characters of modern day are huge this summer: Jonah Hex, Iron Man 2, Prince Of Persia, and Toy Story 3. This genera provides a whole new dimension to fantasy world lovers and a little insight to an otherwise unreachable place. Enjoy!
