Today’s all-American diet has become a huge threat to the nation’s libido and overall sexual performance. It’s no secret that the unhealthy diet of Americans has contributed to generate an epidemic of obesity. With it, national obesity has created a libido crisis, truncating the love life and self-confidence of many men and women.

Obesity being the number one cause to blame for flabby weeners in men around the nation, it triggers chemical reactions in the body that decreases blood flow. As blood flow thins down, so does proper erectile function and consequently more and more cases or erectile dysfunction are diagnosed in all states.

Extra weight also makes movements more painful on the joints and different positions seem a torture or right down impossible to enjoy. The more the weight, the greater the effort the body has to do to support its own load. Yoga-like, float-in-the-air positions are a health hazard and physically impossible for an obese person, regardless of their strength. Because the body is designed to hold a given mass weight, joints suffer from overweight and many times cause great pain to those suffering from this condition.

Another negative effect of obesity on sexual functions is the inability to have children. In men, obesity damages sperm, makes erections more difficult and overall engagement in sexual activity can become truncated by little mobility, poor self-image and erectile dysfunction.

According to scientists who have studied the relationship between healthy body weight and production of healthy sperm, adopting a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet, and regular exercise will most likely lead to a normal body mass index indicators and consequently healthier sperm.

The reasons for how obesity affects semen production are not yet clear, experts say. A number of reasons have been theorized, like a poor diet being responsible for poor semen quality. However, this and other reasons are still under investigation.

Specialists recommend that men who are planning to conceive a baby better start thinking about loosing some weight first. Ideally, healthy weight in men would in turn result in better sperm quality and an easier process to get pregnant. By doing so, frustration after several failed attempts can be minimized and the experience can run more smoothly.

Men can also have their partners undertake the task of losing weight first to then start planning getting pregnant. Overweight is a known risk cause for women and it too can hinder them to get pregnant. Losing those extra pounds is not only important to help that generic Viagra you’ve been taking for some time now, but it will also help your future children to come to world when you plan them to. So, drop the dougnut and grab an apple instead. It’s time to get fit for kids!
