Picking up where we left, we were discussing the why and how of male hygiene. Keeping things clean for the ladies, as we said before, is key to get some lady loving. The End. So before we go worrying about other men issues like getting Generic Viagra, and finding the best male-female vibrator in the market, let’s finish off trimming our weapon of choice. Having successfully dealt with showering and skin care, we can now get down to the more icky issues of male hygiene.

Of course, we were bound to address penis hygiene. The penis is by far the most attention holding area of a man’s body; and as such, special attention to its hygiene should be a must. Though in the States being an uncircumcised man is an uncommon thing, the full sleeve population is now growing. And with such a trend picking up pace, hygiene and proper care are at the order of the day. Shocking as it is, several doctors are unaware of proper hood cleaning and handling. Early retraction of foreskin can cause extreme pain and injury. Unattended accumulation of smegma under the foreskin can lead to infection and foul smells. And none of these are very attractive if you ask me.

Tips: If you are uncircumcised, make sure to follow proper cleaning steps. Not only is the crotch area a sweaty one and hence prone to bacteria growth, but hair, dirt and leftovers under your foreskin can cause infections and really bad smells no woman would want to come in contact with. Clean regularly without being to aggressive; remember this is very sensitive skin and it should be taken care of with mild soap and cold water. Retract your foreskin as far back as possible to reach the furthest for those accumulations of smegma. Do not use genital deodorants or powders, for these could too accumulate and cause more infection or smells.

Now let’s get into the details. Men are hairy, period. There might actually be an attraction factor to our bear-like quality. However, there is some hair that is acceptable and some that is not. Rule of thumb says hair growing out of orifices should not protrude from their point of origin at all, and when removing them is an option, you should do so FAST. So hair and trimming applies to several body parts. First, there’s nose and ears. If it sticks out, cut it off. Then there is body hair. While some back or chest hair is acceptable, carrying a Yeti on your back is going to make heads turn, but in the wrong way. Another hairy area pertaining trimming is the pubic zone. There are some advantages to taking your time to make the gardens look pretty.

Tips: Basically, you should be trimming everytime there is sign of visible hair. Even better, you can trim on a regular basis so no hair ever gets out of place – especially with nose and ear hair. Get a nose and ear trimmer; it will cost little and go miles for your overall look. Body hair is a bit more tricky. Men are nowadays more comfortable with the idea of having their body hair professionally removed. Perhaps going clean slate is a bit too much to handle at first and it might not be your thing. But finding a body trimmer to keep your pubes tamed is not as time consuming, expensive or painful as the Brazilian Wax combo offered at the spa – plus, trimming makes your bazooka look bigger. Men with bad back hair, should consider not only trimming, but waxing their backs. Since hair takes a while to grow, you can make this a not so regular event in your busy schedule. Not only will you be less self-concious about looking like Chewbacca’s cousin, but you will feel a difference in sweat and feeling hot, specially during the summer.
