Piercing, however, has become an interesting way to emphasize sexual pleasure. There is no secret that many men get their genitals pierced either for the sexy way piercing in these areas looks or for sexual pleasure enhancement – not everyone can afford generic Viagra. Learn more about male genital piercings and which ones are the most sought after at this moment.
Genital piercings for men can be split into three main categories: penis head piercings, scrotum piercings and perineum piercings. However, any part of the genitals can be pierced with no apparent side effect. Although men claim it is painful (we can understand that) at the beginning, the pierced area tends to heal quite fast, depending on the particular area where it is put. Piercing requires special care in what concerns hygiene and they do present some disadvantages. Yet, most men are happy with them and regardless of the pain many consider getting multiple pieces.
One of the top notch genital piercings that is available for men is the Prince Albert. This is a piercing intended for the head of the penis and it is perhaps the most common among men. Its popularity may be a result of the fact that it seems to heal the fastest (four months at the most) and it is also considered the most sex appealing of such piercings. Prince Albert piercing is inserted through the urethra and comes out on the head of the penis. There is also a reverse Prince Albert. The Ampallang is another type of piercing that is inserted into the gland of the penis. It is the less common and one of the most difficult to perform – up to a year for recovery might give you a hint as to what it involves. A similar one is the Apadravya. The main difference between the last two gland piercings is the first is horizontal and the latter is vertical.
Piercings on the scrotum are rated as the less painful piercings that can be applied on the penis. This is mainly due to the high elasticity of the skin of the scrotum. It is quite difficult to perform especially given the serious complications that may arise if the sac is penetrated. This type of piercing may heal within two to four months but it comes with the disadvantage of cautious sexual intercourse as rough sexual play may lead to the tearing of the skin.
Perineum piercings are also some of the less common type of male genital piercings. They may result in severe complications because of their position, making them quite rare. However, those who decide to give it a try should expect it to take at least half a year to heal.
Genital piercings in all of their forms, are increasingly popular forms of sexual enhancement and personality representation. As with all good things, downsides to these metal wonders scare some off. Yet, when ultimate sexual satisfaction is around the corner, who wouldn’t want to be considered a sex god?
