Safe Sex With Multiple Partners
If an individual is single and not in a relationship, then morally, according to most standards, he is able to have sex with anyone that he wishes and with as many partners as he so desires. However, it is important to practice safe sex at all times, especially if one is having sex with multiple partners. When an individual chooses to have sex with several different people, he increases his likelihood of contracting a sexually transmitted disease, including Auto Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and of having an unwanted pregnancy.
Thankfully, there are many things a person can do to have safe sex and decrease the likelihood of having one of these unfortunate issues occur. It is important to note, however, that even if one follows all of these steps, there is still some small risk of having an unwanted pregnancy or of contracting a sexually transmitted disease or infection. The only way to fully prevent these issues is abstinence. This, however, is not realistic for most people so they should be sure to consistently follow the safety measures. Failing to do so even one time can result in serious and possibly life threatening consequences.
First and foremost, men should use condoms whenever they engage in any kind of sexual activity. This includes oral sex or any other kind of direct stimulation. Men should be properly educated on the safe usage and disposal of condoms. In short, condoms should be put on as soon as the arousal occurs and before the female or male partner has any direct contact with the penis or the pre ejaculate or ejaculate.
Condoms should not be removed until the giving partner has pulled out of the receiving partner and should then be rolled off carefully so as not to let the fluids come in contact with either person and then discarded of. Many people also find it helpful to use a sperm killing lubricant or another type of spermicide. These can be especially helpful in preventing pregnancy, but they do not protect against sexually transmitted diseases and should not be used as the sole form of protection.
Even when an individual is using condoms, he should be sure to be tested at least every six months. Those people who engage in high risk activities such as having homosexual sex, having sex with those who have had homosexual sex, having sexual contact with an infected person, trading sex for drugs or money or engaging in other forms of prostitution, or using intravenous drugs, may need to be tested more frequently. If an individual does contract a sexually transmitted disease, he should seek treatment for it as soon as possible, if the disease is treatable, and he should not engage in unprotected sexual activity with others. Even if the sexual activity is protected, individuals are still responsible for telling the other person about the existence of the sexually transmitted disease.
If all of this is done correctly, then men are free to enjoy sex as they wish and with whom they wish. Those who have erectile dysfunction disorder or other problems with arousal, may benefit from taking generic Viagra or Sildenafil citrate. This medicine requires a prescription, however, and should not be used without one. Following all of these steps should result in a positive, safe, and enjoyable experience for all involved.
