Getting Your Stuff Waxed
You read “stuff” and thought of your package, I’m sure. But by stuff I meant all of you, not just your jewels. Waxing for men is pretty hot these days and has been for a while now. Once thought of as a ‘girl thing’, men have come to appreciate the benefits of a professional and well-executed body wax. Men suffering from excessive body sweat can get rid of partial body odor and sweat problems, not to mention what some believe is an improvement in overall aesthetics. Male models have come to publicize the hairless ripped body image, and some women seem to think this is the way to go. But waxing is not for the feeble; having your body waxed takes time, money and a whole lot of balls.
Chest and back waxing is the first and more obvious place to start with waxing, specially during the summer, when swimming trunks and shirtless bodies are the order of the day. The more toned bodies want to show off, and off comes the hair as well. Some men like trimming their chests for a little fur action, but the back is certainly mandatory when it comes to showing off your muscle. Even the so-called generic Viagra generation (that is what my little brother calls my dad and his friends) have turned to professional waxers to get the job done.
With more well- groomed men, the more traditional have dipped their toe in the pool of male grooming. Some do their eye brows, some do their chests and backs. Some go for the whole nine yards. Yet, waxing your privates is a delicate subject. Even when all of your skin is sensitive and you want it to look good, waxing the genital area is to be left to the hands of professionals only. Ingrown hairs and wax burns is something you don’t want to see down there. So consult with a dermatologist and a waxing specialist before undergoing a painful treatment. I’m not going to lie to you about the pain of waxing; girls do it too. However, a nicely waxed wand can appear bigger to the sight and some men and their couples report better hygiene in their nether regions.
Contrary to shaving, waxing weakens the hair making the new grown hair thiner, softer and less in quantity. Waxing – well- executed of course – saves times, and pain to those who choose to do so; ingrown hair problems are lessened and results can be pretty satisfactory. Shaving on the other hand, takes time. Using worn out blades can actually do more damage than good by breaking skin and causing ingrown hairs. Shave burn can leave your skin harsh and tender. Besides, shaved hair grows back thicker and more aggressive. Shaving in different directions can cause more hairs to become in grown.
Get your hairy back, front, butt and crotch to the waxing parlor for a more comfy look. After all, even the generic Viagra generation is doing it. You can always grow it back.
