All A Keg Should Be

Even when the college experience has passed you by and keg stands, drinking your brains out and spray painting your restroom with puke are no longer as appealing, a new and true appreciation for cold beer in the comfort of your uncrowded home seems to naturally settle in. If you have the ever-complaining wife or live-in girlfriend breathing on your neck about her lack of fondness for beer bellies and drunken snoring, it is news flash time for her: studies show up to two drinks a day can reduce chances of strokes and other heart conditions in men. The stroke being the 3rd leading cause of death in America, these are figures even she might want to think through. Beer might make that belly pop, but it sure can help you blow some steam and contribute to your health.

Drank in moderation, beer could be even more beneficial to overall health than wine or certain liquors. Research says consumers of moderate amounts of beer – moderate being one or two a day, tops – are at a lower risk of suffering heart disease compared to those who don’t drink at all. For ages, alcohol has been attributed different types of healing powers, be these true or intoxication- fabricated. Alcoholic beverages have been long said to relax the nerves and put people in a better mood. Be this a “health benefit” or not, alcoholic drinks can increase good cholesterol (HDL) and help decrease blood clots.

Few inventions have surpassed the greatness of generic Viagra, if you ask me. However, I recently found one that deals with the bliss of golden refreshments. If men enjoy sharing as a group, there is one thing that is likely to help the overall brotherhood theme. Beer, as a symbol of male bonding, has long been present not only in barbecues and football games, but at other important events in life, including dates, weddings, engagement parties, birthdays and more. As the ultimate way to celebrate the unifying power of beer (I’m not the spokesperson for Beer, Inc. but I would sure like to be), I found the Kegerator.

The most obvious but genius merge between cooling appliances and beer dispensing, the Kegerator is destined to attract more than one pair of eyes. Bar enthusiasts, and I know many, are always on the look-out for new ways to improve and outdo the power of their liquor chests. While known brands’ bar ware and one-of-a-kind trinkets are always sought after, nothing says “bar gear” like your very own beer keg cooler. I’m not talking about your regular bucket-o-ice cooling system; I’m talking big, shinny and lasting cooling devices that keep your precious liquid gold running at the right temperature for up to six months.

The greatest thing about the Kegerator’s website is they not only provide visitors with an immense array of keg cooling options and bar add-ons, but they also provide alternative options to buying their products. Of course, DIY keg cooling systems are far from looking as stylish, compact and secure as these Kegerators. For all of you out there attempting to bring a fully loaded keg home, I recommend you get a Kegerator; the TRUE Combination model provides temperature control cooling racks for her white wine, and a fully loaded keg compartment for your fine brew.
