Hospitals and doctors are at the bottom of most men’s to-do list. Unless their condition is keeping them from breathing, the odds are that men will do anything they can to avoid going to see a doctor. “Doctor-phobia” appears to be a very common fear among men of all ages and races. Ever wonder why? Maybe some of them have been traumatized during their childhood by a nurse that took their blood or just told them to open their mouth to look at their throat. Regardless of the root of the problem, the fact is that men refuse seeing doctors for even the simplest of health problems. Read more

Skin Of A Sheep

Wolf and Sheepdog, Ralph and Sam, or whatever you want to call them; that is what I think about when someone mentions sheep. In case you are not familiar with my aforementioned reference, Ralph and Sam are Looney Toons and Merrie Melodies characters. Ralph, a close resemblance to the equally famous and more widely recognized Wile E. Coyote, is a sheep-seeking wolf, who goes through a number of unsuccessful plans to get his skinny wanting hands on one of those characteristic and clueless fluffy sheep, pasturing endlessly away in the timeless cartoon. Sam, a sedentary but unimaginably strong sheepdog is in charge of keeping the sheep safe. Man, I loved that show. Read more

Looks like the roles have been switched for good, patient men all around the world. With the recently coined term Irritable Male Syndrome, men are finally admitting to male hormonal imbalance and the otherwise hysteric manifestations, formerly attributed exclusively to women and dreaded menopause. Also referred to as male menopause or andropause, causes men to suffer from random mood swings or what most of us know as being “grumpy and irritable” for no apparent reason. Read more

The minute that nasty back pain kicks in, sex falls down to the bottom of your fun list. Severe or chronic back pain can interfere or even stop a couple’s sex life in no time. What is worse, several men fail to look for medical attention, increasing the potential of harmful effects of untreated neck and back pain. Among these consequences is inability to have sex. Back pain can gradually increase to a point where it is impossible for the patient to even more, let alone assume mild or wild sexual positions. Read more

You have probably heard tons about premature ejaculation, but how about retrograde ejaculation? A condition sometimes mistaken for dry orgasm and infertility, retrograde ejaculation often manifests through cloudy urine after orgasm and shows in fact the latter conditions as symptoms of its presence in a male patient. If you never heard of testicular torsion, like me, you probably made a sour face and instinctively grabbed your crotch area. The idea of having your testicles twisted over can cause a painful imagery to any man alive. After all, testicles are one of the most exposed and delicate parts of the male body. That is why we keep them safe in fashionable and tights boxer briefs these days. So, how is it that testicles can get tangled up and twisted around? How much pain is that! Read more

Epilepsy And Erectile Dysfunction

Men with epilepsy are constantly aware of their condition. As a social side effect, confidence and self-esteem are many times lost or hang by a thread due to social stigma set upon those who suffer from this condition. If still undisclosed, being on a date and suddenly having a seizure is something no epileptic man wants to go through. The surprise factor in this scenario is not a good thing: your date freaks out, has no clue as what is going on and while you want to comfort her, you are too busy twisting and shaking on the floor. What else could go wrong? Read more

Your fears of being too short or too small in the locker room might have not being unfounded. Little did you know boys can be born with a condition called micropenis. Men with micropenises are those who are born with a penile structure under the normal size range for infants – those under 1.9 centimeters must have made mom and dad worry a bit. Even when few men actually suffer from this condition, as it is one you are born with, an increasing amount of men are in fact suffering more from “small-penis syndrome” – having the erroneous perception and fear of their penis being too small. How About Them Swimmers?

We just can’t seem to get enough of our boys: how fast they are and how imminently they could fertilize the land of women if we wanted to. After all, every man seems to think their juice could become the all-mighty, human race savior if someone let them. However, men’s truth is somewhat of a different reality. With an increase in male reproductive conditions and complications produced by stress, pollution and congenital defects, men’s health might not be all that and then some. One of these problems is good, hefty sperm count, and here is what every boy should be in the look out for, concerning sperm.
