The Smells Of Women
The sense of smell can be a powerful weapon or a deadly turn off. For years men and women have searched for the fragrances that can best mask their otherwise not so appealing odor. Perfume creators and scent combination experts have long try to create distinctive and alluring scents that costumers can relate to. If you haven’t found personality in a bottle yet, you are likely to at least know what smells you don’t like, specially on a woman. So what drives us men crazy about the way a woman smells?
A friend of mine was always finding familiar smells, no matter where we went. As a joke, I always referred to her as the girl with a smelly memory. I swear she would recognize places and people more by smell than by any of her other sense. For the time being, I attempted taking a shot at her game; the results were disastrous. However, I found a truth or two about the way women smell.
The way a woman smells can take your generic Viagra‘s job or turn you off in a second. And this smell includes both artificially produced smell (aka soap, body lotion, shower gel, perfume or body splash) as well as natural body odor. Certain designer scents as well as age old concoctions are known pheromone enhancers. These love scents are supposed to enhance your body’s naturally produced sex hormone release, allegedly making you even more irresistible to the opposite sex. I don’t know about pheromone-enhanced perfume, but there sure are some great smelling girls around.
In any case, the best smell a man can find in a woman is her natural scent. While there are some women (and men, for that matter) that have a terrible natural smell, there are those whose skin naturally exudes a mild and pleasant smell that compares to no lotion or spray in the market. Liking a woman’s natural skin smell has a lot to do with chemistry and attraction. Most likely, your appreciation of a woman will be closely linked to her natural smell, among other factors. Her pheromones and yours click and love chemistry is born.
One of the smells men have the hardest time with is genital odor. Even when each person has their distinctive funk, men all around the globe continue to discuss the ever unpopular fishy smell and its variations. Lots has been said about the smell of female genitalia. While some cases have to do with plain hygiene issues, women in general have different pH balances that make their acidity higher or lower. This variation makes each vagina smell different from the next. In addition to hygiene and pH balance, there is eating habits and underwear.
What a woman eats directly reflects on her vaginal fluids and hence her vaginal odor. Much like when you eat asparagus and your pee smells like the green veggie, overall eating habits of your lady projected upon her lubrication and vaginal fluids. The underwear she uses can also help or mess with her smell. Synthetic fabrics are known to trap in moisture and keep skin from breathing properly. Therefore, women who wear synthetic fabric underwear are exposed to vaginal infections and odor-causing trapped moisture.
The smells that make women feel good about themselves can have the power to make them feel sexier and hornier – much like a nice two-piece of lingerie or a new outfit they like. The same smells may also lower their inhibitions, making them display a much more outgoing personality and free-spirited vibe. Natural oils, experts say, can help trigger hormones and stimulate emotion-related areas of the brain in function of sexual and romantic behavior.
If what you are after is finding the perfect turn on scent for her to wear, spices are what studies indicate men like the most. Think pie when selecting a fragrance for her; cinnamon, ginger and pepper are long known male aphrodisiacs. A little splash of the spicy liquid and you won’t be able to keep your hands off of her.
